Im writting a webpage in PHP.I try wrote a Javascript function that update database(mySQL) but it dont work. Can you help me?Thanks

Yes, you can access (Update, Insert) Database via JavaScript using AJAX.

Ajax will allow you to make the server connection while executing the js and the response can be retreived as XML.

But JavaScript runs on the client side, so you also have to use a server side script to access the database.
