Am normal and am not even close to getting one I had two in first grade but dunno if it counts. Am 14 btw and just started highschool how long you think it will take and if I dont ask a girl how long would it take for a girl to ask me?

Well, I had a boyfriend the first day of Kindergarten (as if we even knew what that meant back then)! But I would say the normal age is about 12, at least that is when you really know what having a girlfriend/boyfriend means. If you really like a girl, go ahead and ask her out, you only get to live life once, so don't sell yourself short. Most girls don't like to ask guys out, so you probably would be waiting a long time for her to ask you out. Good Luck!!

You can have a girl FRIEND at any age. Is that what your talking about or did you mean a relationship with a girl. And then that depends on the kind of relationship you want Sex or no Sex. This might be getting really boring but it makes difference. I my not have given you the answer you were looking for but maybe a gave you something to think about.

I was 12, but then I got burned pretty bad and it's corrupted me for the last 10 yrs. Thank god for my fiancee..... but I don't think it's that bad of a thing.. it's part of H.S. Enjoy it.

Don't be so concerned about having a girlfriend. Make friends with a lot of girls. Girls love it when they can have guy friends. Just be yourself, be kind, be positive, don't cuss, be a gentleman, girls love it. Just have fun...
