Because that is the main purpose of mankind, although you wouldn't think it by looking around you. "God loves a cheerful giver." People are not doing the things expected of them who claim Christianity such as" Love thy neighbor as thyself ", and "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Your doing from your heart the works that please God. If you don't know Jesus, your missing out on many more blessings, and the promise of eternal life in Heaven with the Lord and His Holy angels. If you have any questions concerning The Lord, please feel free to write again. JESUS LOVES YOU ! I'm not a scholar or someone that claims to be real smart, but one thing I do know is that the things I have shared with you is straight out of God's word, and have been fortunate to have been taught them through God's Spirit.

It feels good when we can provide something to someone else who really needs it...but, beware...don't get sucked into the sympathy trap. Instead, really try to connect with some of these individuals on a personal level...be their friend and/or mentor, it's much more satisfying, for both of you!

You feel happy because it is always better to give than receive. At least I have always found that to be a truism.

No everyone is so fortunate, and when you are able to help the unfortunate, it's also meant you are the fortunate...and you will appreciate you fortunate after helping the unfortunate.
