Well..lets say yer the fourth pick......johnson, tomlinson, and manning are gone...so would you take alexander....because remember he lost steve hutchinson..his best guard to the vikings(GO VIKINGS)....he is not on a contract year this year like he was last year...and most importantly he was on the cover of Madden '07......which if you are familiar with the madden curse...almost all players who are on the cover ...are followed by a bad or injury plagued season...so will alexander end the madden curse...or will it continue?

Take Alexander. If you can get him at 4. That is a steal. He is by far the best TD back in the game. Also, seattle faces the second easiest rushing schedule this season (check out link below). Take alexander at 1 if you can. LJ is gonna be the bust this year. Don't get me wrong, LJ will put up numbers, but not as much as everyone is expecting him to.

I seriously doubt that Alexander would get to you with the 4th pick but if you was to pass on him be prepare to face da ridicule of the league. Cmon can you imagine urself saying that u past on the best avalaible player in ur draft simply because he's on the madden cover???

I hate to say it, but yeah, you have to take Alexander at the 4th pick. Any earlier and I would say no. I worry about him losing Steve and the Madden curse, but he is too good to pass up with this pick. Take him and pray!

You have to take Alexander...he is far better than the next few backs that available(T Barber, C Portis) Barber doesn't get all the TD's...and now that Washington has traded for TJ Duckett, Portis will see his TD's go down as well.

Alexander should no doubt be atleast a top 4 pick

If Alexander was on the board still at four I would take him. He has been the model of consistancey sense he entered the league. Lets look at his 5 year average.

No games missed(in 6 yaers)
18.6 TDs per season
1.2 TDs per game
4.52 yards per rush
93.8 yards per game
1500.8 yards per season
1.2 fumbles lost per season

Only one of those 5 years was a contract year. Also he is only 28 years old, he's in his prime. The loss of Hutchensin isn't going to make him an average back. Thats why teams draft and practice. Take him anywhere you can.

Definitely. I wouldn't pick Peyton until the mid 2nd round. The loss of Hutch will hurt, but Seattle is still a great team and has an even better defense, which usually means they will want to run the ball more. I think his production will probablly go down a bit, but he is still the 3rd best option.

Go with Alexander, don't pass him up. I think he is going to end that darn Madden curse, cause he is a durable back.
