Republicans and Libertarians have a lot in common. We both believe in:

1) Individual Rights
2) Individual Responsibility

Liberals (who usually vote for Democrats or Green Party candidates) believe that Groups have primacy, and individual wants and needs must be subserviant to the needs of the group.

3) A Strict Constructionist view of the Constitution

Republicans take the position that the Constitution means exactly what the words say. If changes are needed, there is a well defined amendment process. This influences #4 below.

Democrats on the other hand, believe that the Constitution should be viewed as a "living document" open to reinterpritation by the courts.

4) Scope of Federal Authority

In theory Libertarians and Republicans also agree that the Federal Government should be smaller. Unfortunately, contemporary Republicans in office seem more interested in pandering to voters.

Democrats believe that there is a government solution to every problem. When their programs fail to work, then tend to claim that the program was underfunded, and is sure to work if only funding can be increased.

5) Social Issues

Where Republicans disagree with the other parties is social issues. Republicans believe that some guidance from government is needed. Libertarians have a hands off policy. Abortion is probably the most intensly debated of these issues, and one where the Libertarians and the Democrats are in agreement.

Other hot social issues include pornography, prostitution, and recreational drug use. Republicans oppose all of these. The other parties show varying degrees of tolerance.

I see there are a number of Republicans answering the question as opposed to the number of well considered responses from non-Republicans.
I agree with netjr, Republicans as all party members regardless of affiliation have their own priorities remembering of course that 90% of all politics are local. I would also venture to say that while we may disagree (and that is good it is what separates us from 80% of the rest of the world) on how to get there the vast majority of Americans agree on most of their top 10 issues.
As a Republican the 5 main items I am interested in:
Protection of the Constitution
Protection of the American people's rights, special interests taking over political parties on both sides
Having a Supreme Court that interprets law not writes it, which has allowed both parties to manage almost every aspect of every Americans life
Getting rid of the concept of tolerance, we have to have a passion (strong regard, love, etc...) for one and other, tolerance is just a way of saying that I will hide my disdain for someone
Strong National Security and all that it entails, border protection, strong defence, etc...but not at an unreasonable expense of my rights and liberties as afforded by the Constitution.

those that would give up essential liberties to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Probably every single republican is different; but in order of importance I'd say;

1. Security from harm mostly related to terrorism,
2. Lowering the burden of government on people (reduce taxes if possible - I don't think it is right now)
3. Immigration reform - just engage the laws on the books and secure the border (which is related to #1 to me)
4. Tort reform - no reason why we have hundred million dollar law suits - they cost consumers billions and its time to fix this
5. Appointing non liberal activist judges
