I am in Denver, CO.
Are there certain criteria you have to meet to get emergency medicaid over the medicaid that takes forever to get signed up for? Where do you go, or who do you call to get it?
Is there any way to to find out if you get rejected for medicaid quickly so that you can start with something like the Colorado Indigent Care Program or the Child Health Plan Plus?

If you are in a hospital or clinic they can assist you with this. We have a social worker in our group and she can get it done in a matter of hours if need be.
