I want to see as much of Chicago that is fun, and interesting, plus all the great food, and is it worth it to go to Wrigley Field?

Sears, Hancock (both Sears and Hancock have observatories). Also, Water Tower, Navy Pier, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Art institute, Millenium Park, Buckingham Fountain, Lincoln Park Zoo, Wrigley Field, walking along the lake....I can keep going. Whatever you decide to do--most of these places might have events going on--so check that out. For example Lincoln Park Zoo has jammin at the zoo during the summer and zoo light festival in winter. Grant Park has things going on all the time. Check out for events happening. http://egov.cityofchicago.org/city/webportal/portalEntityHomeAction.do?entityName=Special+Events&entityNameEnumValue=38

If you can get to a Cub's game--do it. If you can just hang out in the area---that's always fun too.

One of my favorite places is Navy Pier. It's an area of Chicago I like...on the lake. There are just tons to do there, restaurants....and dinner cruises off the pier. In the winter time--there are special events. http://www.navypier.com/

Wicked is in town--I am going to see that in a couple weeks. There is also Blue Man Group, saw it twice--very interesting.

As far a dining...every chicago neighborhood has great restaurants. They are all over. You have to have two things--pizza and a hot dog. Some touristy favs are Gino's, Oven Grinder, Pizzeria Uno. Hot Dogs are Weiner Circle and Doggy Diner. There are great steak houses...and lots of fun places like Ed Debevic's and Harry Caray's. Try Rush street for dining and spirits.

Chicago is very diverse culturally. You have a lot of choices. There is sooo much to do and see. I hope you are planning to stay more than a day! BTW, it's easy to get around, there is the "L" and bus...but just cab it. Tell them where you want to go, and they will take you! Here is another good site. http://www.chicagotraveler.com/

I've never been to Wrigley Field, but Chicago is a very exciting city. Lake Michigan is beautiful. The Sears Tower is kinda of cool. There are tons of things to do. I love just walking along the shore of the lake.

Field Museum, Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science and Industry are all great. Chicago has so many beautiful skyscrapers - a great way to see the city's architectural treasures is to take a river boat tour. There are several boat tour companies that will take you along the Chicago River and you can see the whole loop (downtown) this way. Highly recommended.
