Here is my completely "off the top of my head" response to your question:
Red - is the colour of things to come. A red sky in the evening means good weather on the next day, a red sky in the morning means a stormy day ahead. Red is the colour of the blood that accompanies us all at birth.
Orange - is the colour of increase. It is the colour of gold and power.
Yellow - is the colour of the Sun and it is the colour of pure light.
Green - is the colour of of increase and of growth.
Blue - is the colour of the sky and of vast spaces.
Indigo - is the colour of hidden things that bring warmth to the heart and well being.
Violet - is the colour of things fading away and yet remaining.
And Pink is the colour that attracts like a flower attracts bees.
