What do you think I should do?
This is kind of petty but, My mom bought this beach vacation house the other day and shes real excited about it. Its like 3 hours away from home. She really wants me to go this weekend and see it but since its my b day, my husband made reservations to this upscale restaurant we've always wanted to go to for my b day (very upscale and hard to get into) But my mom is really looking forward to us going. Shes been planning for months. Shwe called me all excited asking us whattime we should go down. I feel bad but I REALLY want to go to this place! I dont want to see her little cute disappointed face. She is soooooo excited about it. I am going next weekend also. What should i do??

I CANT SAY NO TO MY MOM CAUSE SHES SOO LOVING AND SWEET AND DOES A LOT FOR ME. IS IT MEAN IF I DONT GO?? SHE WAS SO SAD WHEN I TOLD HER I COULDNT

Ask your husband if you can blame him. Maybe if you told her that you said something to him about going to the new house this weekend, and he got really bummed because he wanted to surprise you for your birthday and made reservations already...so you don't want to hurt his feelings. Maybe then you and your Mom can figure out another time that would work better.
