I've been on the pill for a week now. My last menstruation was on august 12 and I'm pretty regular, we did it on august 23. But I'm worried because even though he came outside, I think some stayed inside (that's what he said) so I'm scared that I might be pregnant. My doctor never told me that it was best to wait a month before doing so until I searched the web after it happened. What are my chances??? Can someone help me, please. I'm desperate!

It is possible that you could be pregnant

Eventhough your doctor did not tell you, you should still be smart enough to read about a pill you are going to take.

Please tell me that "he" is your husband...because no one is so stupid to have unprotected casual sex in this day and age.

Did you start on the 12th or end on the 12th...read about the rythem methed of birth control...that may set your mind at ease.

Wait? today is the 23rd...if you are prego you will not know right away. Look for the morning after pill.

Also, what kind of pill are you taking...there are some out there that are effective in 5 days...

Sorry I have to reprimand you about not using a condom but you know you deserve it...but to balance it out I did give you a few options to look into. good luck.

I am surprised that your doctor never told you to use backup birth control while waiting for the birth control you are taking to get into your system. You have to ask questions and I know most doctors tell you what you are suppose to do when starting birth control.

If you are worried then stop having sex till your next period or use a condom along with your pills and make sure the male uses the condom correctly and what I mean by correctly...it is apparent the reason why people have condoms breaking and tearing is because the male is NOT using it right. If he does not know how to use it correctly then he needs to keep it in his pants.

Why did you have unprotected sex int he first place... silly silly silly

If you are not fully informed about the birth control method you are using, it is best not to have sex at all....

The pill works by not allowing you to produce an egg in the first place... by not taking the entire first package of pills, you may have already produced an egg for this month and without using a back up method you could become pregnant.

There are informative instructions in each package of pills dispensed.... even after being on the pill for 10 years.... there are still directions in EVERY package I get.

I don't mean to sound insulting, just drives me nuts when people don't think about the consequences to their actions.... Don't panic until you know for sure, wait until your regularly scheduled period before you freak out.... or get information about the morning after pill.

Best of luck, I hope for your lack of information you are not pregnant.

In the event you received your period and have not had intercourse due to the fact that, then you aren't pregnant. Just be extra cautious subsequent time. If you're relatively worried about becoming pregnant, use a back up delivery manipulate procedure, equivalent to a condom, for the relaxation of the month due to the fact that you were late taking your first tablet. Recollect, the pill will not be one hundred% potent even when taken flawlessly. So taking a tablet late could make it less effective.

so its like this... it take s one month for the pill to properly kick in so ur chance are average right now... u could have gotten pregnant u never know. best thing to do is not to worry urself because i used to do the same all the time everytime i thought i was pregnant. just wait until about a week into september. like a week before ur period and take a test. then wait to see if u get ur period. if u do ... then u should be fine however u can get ur period when ur pregnant.so after 2 weeks from ur period take a test if it comes out negative and ur fine. trust me your always going to over worry urself... my husband came outside and some dripped down and i thought i was pregnant even though none really went in. good luck hun.

It is possible. You are supposed to wait 30 days because that is how long it takes for the drugs to effect your system. I would be very cautious until then. I would take a prenancy test two weeks after you are regularly scheduled to have you period, on average, people get it about a week later when they start on the pill, and it shouldn't be very heavy, so it may throw you off. You could also take a morning after pill, this is probably your best bet.

If you bought your interval and have not had intercourse on account that, then you're now not pregnant. Just be extra cautious subsequent time. If you are particularly concerned approximately fitting pregnant, use a again up delivery manage procedure, similar to a condom, for the leisure of the month on account that you had been overdue taking your first capsule. Remember, the capsule isn't one hundred% mighty even if taken PERFECTLY. So taking a capsule overdue could make it much less mighty.

Yes. You need to be on the pill for the whole 28 days before you are "fully" protected by the pill.

Wait and see. If your next period is late, then take a pregnancy test.

a week? one week? lol..ya you could be pregnant...doesn't anyone read anymore???

Every drug, Every condom, Every package of anything sold in stores today, comes with directions.

Its the law...it's so that people don't have any excuses for being stupid.

And so they can't turn around and sue their doctors and the stores and the condom companies...because things happened.

What you need to do now...is take your silly self to the drug store and buy a couple of home pregnancy tests...BEFORE you do anything else...READ THE DIRECTIONS, and then take the test..

Find out just how "screwed" you got on August 23rd.

Good luck. READ.

The pill is effective after about 3 days.

YOu are fine.

Take it at the same time everyday and it is 100% effective.

The 1% ineffective rate is due to noncompliance - forgetting a day typically.
