There's no way to hide a kitten anyway. I want to name her button, but my wife may want to name the kitten something else. She'll be our 3rd cat, hopefully she will get along with the others. Do pets add to your relationship? or do you hate their pet & try to make it run away?

Angel_like, Excelsior is Latin for "Higher" , & frankly I'm shocked that you found that "Fate" posting.
Life is fleeting. Live it. Feel it coursing through your veins, feel it in the conversation you have with anyone. Feel it in your relationships, and in love. I love being alive, I hope you do too.
Excelsior!

LOL - your question was worded in such a way, that it made me want to scream and shout curse words at you...thank god i read the detail!!
Anyway.... a kitten could add to your relationship...you'll both have some extra common ground and discussion topics...just make sure your wife is ok with having another four paws to look after!!
I love pets!! Especially dogs, and i think men walking their dogs catches my attention a lot...

If I hated my spouse's pet, I wouldn't make it run away, I'd just tolerate it because it's probably well loved by my spouse. Tell your wife that you adopted the kitten and it's original name was Buttons and it would be too confusing to change it's name.
Wow, some people have no sense of humor or are too stupid to understand your question.

my guy hated pets, he only had a rabbit growing up. But ive always had cats. Im always the one picking up strays asking can we keep them. He says no all the time. However we just moved out together and I brought my cat with us. I have to say hes warming up to her, sure he wont feed or clean up after her, but all I ask of him is to love and respect her. I think it adds to our relationship because it gives us something else to focus on and take care of. And someone to play with when one of us aint home. He loves to make her run around after the laser pointer. I think pets are a great addition to any home.

AAAHHH this was cute
I would tell her you want to introduce her to the new member of the family her name is button
I have a lot of pets my hubby does not care for them but he loves me and I never ask him to clean out a litter box or a cage so it's like a compromise

She (Your Wife) is going to love the new kitten!!!
As long as your litter box holds up and you dont need 3 or 4 of them you should be fine. :)

If she likes cats then she'll probably like it and it'll add to your relationship. If you got it you should name it. Who named the other cats? Whoever named them should let the other one name the cat this time.

just make sure that you can take care of another pet. it's cute how you phrased your question to make it sound like it pertained to an infidelity in your relationship and not a new pet....pets can add to your relationship if you are ready to have one. i would be curious to read your other questions....
