Do you like the name Betsy?

I didn't like it either, but I met a Betsy, who was absolutely gorgeous and spunky, and whenever I think about the name Betsy, I can only think about good things. Her real name was Elizabeth, but was called Betsy.

I'm thinking for my future children.

Although the name Betsy causes an active mind and a restless urge to explore new ideas, we emphasize that it causes an unscrupulous, materialistic approach that frustrates higher humanitarian qualities.

This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the solar plexus and reproductive organs.

The name of Betsy creates a very aggressive and independent nature, one with big ambitions, giving you original, progressive, large-scale ideas, salesmanship and promotional ability as well as the excellent business judgment which enables you to gain the financial accumulation to which you feel entitled.

You have a versatile, restless nature, and could do any job well, although you would not like to do menial tasks.

You are seldom satisfied and are always seeking something new.

you know that name reminds me of something like old betsy or betty boop- relating to the 70's and older generations. I dislike the name because it is out of sync with modern names, names over the course of genrations change and evolve. So no I dont like that name. However an alternative modern version of that name might be Elizabeth.

Hopefully by the time you have children, that name will be obsolete. Betsy is so old school. I'm talkin' 'bout the First President's wife. We're in the twenty-first Century. No offense, but it is an old name. Betty sounds better to me than Betsy (Ross). We're talkin' old. Desiree is exotic.

No, it sounds like a cow. Or my Gramma's friend from the senior center. Do not name your child Betsy. She would not like it.

Rather old fashioned and ordinary unless it's for your cat in which case sure, why not. The cat will certainly not take offense.
