How do I ping yahoo on a MAC?

Double-Click on the Hard Disk (By default, it's name is Macintosh HD) Go to Applications>Utilities>Network Utility

Click on the Ping tab, and there you go!

Go into finder to the applications folder, then the utilities folder and open the program Terminal. You can ping there.
