Copy and paste - select the resume on WordPerfect, copy it - go to your email and EDIT paste.

If you are using MS Outlook Express you must first make sure you compose using HTML instead of text by going into options area and making the proper selections. Then I would think you could simply copy from Wordpad or Works then Paste to a new email you are creating but unless you create a html email instead of text you will not get the formatting/images/fonts you most probably want. In text mode the only way to attach things which for the most part will be invisible without special handling. In any case save your document frquently because if the power goes out then you loose everything and must start over.

First you must save the file and know exactly where you saved it. Then open your email program separately and 'attach' the file. By attaching your file to your email it can be sent with all its formatting intact. Otherwise you could copy and paste your resume in the body of your email, but it might not save its formatting.

Since you didn't say what OS and email program you were using, it is difficult to be more exact.

If copy and paste doesn't work, maybe you can open it in microsoft word, instead of word perfect, or another word processing program, then try to copy and paste from that program.

Try highlighting the text with your right mouse button and space bar, then, right click in the body of the text, click copy, go to your e-mail, right click in the text area, and click paste.
