You have just opened it rite.. so may be u can plan something like this. the first 6 months dont expect too much of returns. just make sure that everyone in ur city knows about ur company and business. keep spreading your business name. and if you can acheive that.. then closing deals is no big deal.

Do you live there?
I'd say get involved in the community. Show them you care... sponsor some school activities for their kids, Attend town meetings, get involved... so on and so forth.

Advertise locally by going door to door, or putting up flyer's in your local grocery stores, gas stations, take out a billboard on a busy street.

join a local chamber of commerce. hang around the local grocery store. throw a house warming party for yourself and invite your neighbors. go to pta meetings.

get involved in their community clubs and oganizations (i.e. chamber of commerce, elks, lions, knights of columbus, kiwanis, etc.) attend every community event possible and be outgoing and friendly - you will need to prove that you are in their community for the long term and you want to blend in and adapt their culture and traditions as your own.
