Well i want to get a tummy tuck .I am happy with my weight but i am not happy that mu tummy hangs and i live in ILL. I was wondering if anyone knows a good doctor and about how much is the cost and what side effects? i have limated funds but i must do what i must do.

Hi - I had a tummy tuck and hip liposuction done in July (in Connecticut - NOT INDIA!) and I had a wonderful experience with the whole process.

I had twins 3 years ago, and even after I lost all the pregnancy weight, people still asked me when I was "due" because I had this POUCH that just hung there. It was gross. I became very ashamed of my body, and put more weight on! So, I looked into a tummy tuck. It's not like a hospital will allow some poorly qualified surgeon use their place!

Side effects: BIG SCAR, but low...can't see it under my bikini style underwear. You'll need a solid 2 or 3 weeks off of work, and you'll be walking "hunched over" for a little while. If you do have the surgery, get up and get moving the very next day! (I recovered quickly because I didn't sit there like a bump on a log. I even went to a wedding 18 days later and no one had any clue that I had surgery.)

I am extremely happy with my results and recovery. For me, it was worth every penny because I have regained so much of my self-confidence. Only 5 pounds were removed, but what a difference it has made in remolding my body! My FLAT stomach defintiely does not make me look pregnant anymore!!!!
