If I where a guy, I'd get turned off just seeing a tattoo on a woman, period. Tattoos are for sailors. I saw an old woman at Walmart the other day, who had tattoo's on her shoulder and arm. She was all wrinkled up, at first I though she had either just gotten the crap beaten out of her, or had been in a car accident or something. They looked like big black ugly bruises. Later I was behind her in the check out, and noticed they where actually tattoos under that wrinkled sagging skin. Made me want to vomit. Why would a woman want to go to her grave with that crap permanently stamped on her body. YUCK.

Being part of the tattoo industry, I see this all the time... No, it would not bother me, because almost anything can be covered up later, depending on size, location, color.. If it is her EX and they are no longer involved, well, why should it bother me? It would bother me more if she was still talking to her ex lovingly, tattoo or not.

lol. As upset or bothered as you are about the tatto, I'm sure she feels worse! Having someone name tattoed on your body is one of the most stupid things anyone can do. She probably regrets it, and you making a big deal about it is making her feel worse. I think that if you care about her you should let it go. After all, being with the ex and now being with you is what makes her the person she is today. Don't judge her and don't make her feel bad for her mistakes. How would you like it if she collected al your mistakes and threw them in your face?

Of cause...anyone will. But it's not the end of the world rite. Just cover it up with another tattoo or remove it. There are many options...visit the tattoo shop and get their advice.

That's why you should never, but never tattoo a name on your body. Unless it says MOM. That's the only exception.

My friend has her ex husbands name written in Korean on the small of her back. Her current boyfriend thinks it means "Happiness". Haha! Sucker

Yes it would. If the relationship turned very serious, I think I would ask her to either have it removed or changed.
