for me, it's Lou Reed - that guy's made some fantastic music - but I'm pretty sure and by all accounts he's a total jerk..

Absolutely....most music/song do not represent their singer because they mostly written/composed by someone else.
So, the musician that we dislike the most might have the music that we love. It's rare to hear some musician true self through their musics. Like Nick Lachey, I wonder if the image he projects through his music is real? He seems nice and all but what else????

My favorite band is Modest Mouse but I know some bad things personally about Isaac Brock. I respect him as a musician not as a human.

Kiss-Gene Simmons has turned to anything for a dollar. Mind you, he can be amusing but he needs to get off the I want more money crap! He's already got more than he can spend in his or his children's lifetime.

PCD: i like a lot of their songs, but i think we've all had enough of seeing girls in skimpy outfits.
thursday: this sounds kinda dumb, but you can barely hear the lead singer on some songs.
