Being stressed could definatelly be the cause of your late period. However, you should take an at home test soon to ease your mind. You can take a test as early as the first day of your MISSED period and since your three days late you should be fine in that regard.
Most tests ask that you use the first urine of the day. I.E. take the test as soon as you wake up. To be honest though, I took my test at around 9 PM and the positive showed up imediatelly. To be on the safe side though simply follow the boxed directions so that there is no doubt left in your mind upon reading the results.
Good luck to you no matter the outcome!!!

Being stressed can delay things. But, being on the pill it should still be pretty regular. Sometimes I don't get mine for maybe a day. Using condoms and birth control your chances are slim, but there is always that possibility. I would take the test now! Your stressed as it is....find out if your pregnant or not.

If you didn't miss a pill and you used condoms also then the chances of it are very very very slim. Stress can do some horrible things toyour body and being late is one of them. One way to find out for sure would be to take a test. the ones over the counter are very reliable and a doctor will accept the results of them . Good luck to you.

Well you are probably right in BOTH respects...you COULD be pregnant, or you COULD just be having irregular periods due to stress!

the only way to find out for sure is to take a pregnancy test!!

(im not sure how accurate and useful the HOME TEST KITS are, but your doctor should be able to tell you right away!)

my advise would to get tested ASAP

If I see more more question posted with ME AND MY BOYFRIEND instead of my boyfriend and I I'm going to scream. Where in God's name did you people go to school and what were you doing while you were there? Also, why if you are taking your birth control pills correctly are you so paranoid that you are also using a condom and now you're dumb enough to ask if you're pregnant???

You're being very careful, so pregnancy is not likely. Stress can definitely cause you to be late. I'd give it 2 weeks and if you still haven't had your period, take a test.

your period could very easily be effected by stress. I would wait a couple of days before I took the test. Just try and relax even though things are stressfull for you right now.

If you have taken the pill as prescribed, not missed any at all and have used a condom every time, your chance of being pregnant is between zero and 1%. It would be a miracle baby.

It could very well be stress but I would take a pregnancy test just to make sure before you jump to any conclusion.

stress can be a big factor in a late period. You can take a test now and get an accurate result.
