I just had 17" cut off my hair. I have a round face as well. I feel like my face doesn't look so round when my hair is long and I can pull it up in a barrette in front. You know, with the barrette on top of my head just a couple inches from my forehead. Does that make sense? If your face is very round, be careful how short you go. I'd go for just slightly above the shoulders.

Personally, I think you should get layers, side bangs, and a slight angle. I also have long hair and I just got my hair cut like this yesterday. I was extremely pleased with the finished product. Although, my face shape is oval, but I'm sure the cut would look amazing on a round faceshape as well.

I have a rounder face as well and just got my hair cut to the collar bone with lots of layers and sideswept bangs. It looks really nice, and cost about $30.

Dont go to short with a round face. I think with a round fair your hair should be kinda long the legthen out your face.

I have a round face and I look fat when I get my hair cut anywhere above my chin... Keep it below the chin...
