I want either a partial arm band or something on my lower back. I like the idea of something small and thin and pretty as an armband though, what do you all think. And how bad is the pain?

It hurts like he!!, and you're the one who should decide where it goes. Personally I would chose the lower back, oh that's right I did. :)

Go for the lower back. Arm tats are trashy looking on women. The pain can be pretty bad. It depends on what you get, how many colors, etc.

i would go with your back because you can cover it easier if need be. i have a big wizard on my back and it was not that painful. if you get something little it will be over before you know it. if you are trying to be unique though i would go with the arm, so many girl have tramp stamp tattoos.

Go with the lower back! Yes it hurts a little, but not more than the first time (you know) Just hang in there, it is worth it int the end. (let me tell ya, having your tongue done hurts more!) Rock on!!!

get something on your lower back. the pain isn't that bad. when i got mine, the tattoo artist told me it felt like cat nails on a sunburn.

Lower back or just below ur shoulder on the back side.

nah dont get an armband....backpieces are better. and either way its at least semi painful so i wouldnt worry about it.

it doesnt hurt that bad if its in a decent spot, like your lower back would be alright.
