Well, I've had ultrasound to find out the sex of two of my kids and both times they said girl and both times girls came out. But with my last one my husband and I both thought it would be a boy, but it wasn't. The doctor only said he didn't see any boy parts and that's how he could tell. He said he was 95% sure it was a girl. I think I trust the ultrasounds better now that they've been right for me twice. But of course there was a 5% chance. I wouldn't go completely crazy with buying all of your stuff pink if that's why you're asking. Or at least keep all the tags on.

The unltra sound is pretty accurate so if they tell you it is a girl they are most likely right. but the Dr's do make more mistakes predicting girls than boys. My girlfriend was told she was having a girl and did the nursery in pink I mean she did not have anything any other color than pink then she had a boy she didn't keep receipts so she was kind bummed. but don't worry so much on what your having It doesn't matter as long as the baby is healthy. Best Of Luck

Don't rush out and buy pink just yet. I have four children and they were right three times. With number two, I was told I was having a boy. After the baby was born, I asked where winky was. Luckily, everything I had bought was neutral and my oldest is a girl and I still had all of her stuff.

Good luck and congratulations!

I had my 1st somogram at 5 months and they told me that it was a boy. I was so happy. Then when they did anther one it was still a boy. I saw his testicle. So if they checked more than once, and said it was a girl. take their word for it. If you are not convinced, and you have the money let them do the 3d ultrasound. Then you can see for sure what sex the baby is.

Believe it! I had an ultrasound at 20 weeks and they told me it was a girl and it was. I did however beg them later on in my pregnancy to give me another one just to make sure because I was having dreams that I was having a boy! Good Luck!

I know they always say they can't be 100%, but I would believe it. The tech that did my sonogram with my daughter said not to paint the room pink, but my doctor said she had been working with this particular tech for more than 6yrs and she had never gotten one wrong. I would say your having a girl!

If they checked twice and said it was a girl, then it's a girl. If the babies legs were crossed, they wouldn't be able to tell you one way or another because it could be a girl OR he could just be hiding his penis.

I'd 99% believe it, but I wouldn't go buy everything in pink just in case.Technology has come a long way, but sometimes mistakes do happen.

It's possible for them to be wrong. But if they are unsure of the sex, they will say that. ie... With my eldest they said, "It's probably a girl but we can't be certain because we don't have a good angle."
