when earth was very young the atmosphere has more carbon dioxide. When the vegetation evolved it produced surplus oxygen billions of years and made the atmosphere what we see today. But humans are reversing that process by reducing the vegetation and producing more carbon dioxide.

HOLLY COW what a lot of oxygen depraved paranoia by the answerers or are they being funny. The oxygen is not lost in the atmosphere but is breathed by animals and absorbed in chemical oxidation fires, etc. It is a natural cycle where it is being produced at about the same rate it is being used.

More oxygen is produced, and that's the way it will continue to be for millions of years. But as man cuts down the rainforest, the total amount of oxygen produced will decrease. But that's a different story.

Yes ever sincedawn of time. There was more oxygen before. People lived longer as recorded in the holy books including Bible.
We must stop excess burning of fuels which depletes oxygen.

I seriously doubt it..
The earths oxygen content in the past ( dinosaur times )
is estimated to have been over 30%..
I don't believe the oxygen percentage has changed since we
have been able to measure it however that has not been very long.
One would logically assume it would be getting lower...
