morning sickness is caused by all the changes in ur body (i forgot what they are called) most women get in some very lucky ones done. But most women get in during the first 3 months of pregnancy---I have heard some women get it all day---I only got it the first 3 months but food made me sick all day---for the past 2-3 weeks i only feel bad the mornign and the rest of the day i feel ok. I only throw up in the morning when i brush my teeth after im finished i can eat anything. My sister had it all day she would go to the store and throw up anywhere she couldnt contol it but thats not so common------

Most women get it in their first trimester and it usually subsides after that. It usually occurs in the morning but can occur throughout the day the first trimester. Doctors can give you prescription of Phenergan in extreme cases. Ginger also helps and there are no risks for the baby. Some doctors are giving bracelets that are supposed to help with morning sickness. It also helps to keep some crackers by your bed and to drink something like Sprite, Gingerale, or Gatorade to keep you from getting dehydrated. The causes of morning sickness are most likely due to chemical changes in the body including rapidly increasing estrogen and progesterone. Also an enhanced sense of smell and excess stomach acids. Hope this helps and good luck to you and your baby.

Wow, did I have morning sickness. But not just in the morning. LOL Stopped by the time that I was 3 months pregnant. The drastic change in hormones causes this.

I was one of the lucky ones and never had morning sickness. I have heard that it can last all day or part of the day. My friend had it in the evening so its not just "morning" sickness!

my mom had it with me and my sister had it 24/7 shed get sick morning noon and night, she was always sick with all 3 of her kids, but i never had a lick of sickness when i was prego. so i think it just depends on ur body type.
