I'm A big fan of Dilana, Buit I wasn't crazy about her preformance of 'every breath you take' and her reasoning for taking that song should have been kept to herself.

My problem with Dilana this week was that during the interviews she let everything out about her feeling of the other contestants, their motives and talent. All while Jason Newstead was sitting there. Remember who ever wins is spending a year with the boys, would you like your dirty laundry in the papers. It was like she had a brain fart and expelled it all out her mouth. Even her personal feelings were inapropiate at the time. S.N. are judging these singers not only for their talet, but as a someone they are going to have to work with and how that person will be seen by the public. I can't imagine Tommy Lee sitting there at an interview if his lead vocalist is weeping over her childhood. Not the rockstar image I'd say. Baggage in the rock world generally leds to a downward spiral. Kurt Kobain anyone. Remember during the stage craft workshop Jason commented of lack of confidence.
Having said that, I repeat I'm a huge fan of Dilana. I hope she can get it together and rock it.

Like so many people with no experience in the public eye, she proved herself unable to handle the pressures of her modest "fame."

While I appreciate some of her performances, she's clearly not mentally-suited to the demands of the rock lifestyle.

I disagree. I think she did a great job - as always- and as for why she took it. I think showing the relationship she has ( or hasnt) with her mother shows her human side..We all have our crosses to bear and I think that she has been a machine up until now. I think this is what the guys needed to hear from her. It shows that she has baggage like the rest of us.

Performance wasn't impressive, and I have a thing against professionals playing the sympathy card to get a pass on a so-so performance. You're absolutely right...

I definitely think so!

She didn't have the same impact. Her performance was a little less than her usual high-octane approach. I think she took a step backward last night.

Ryan looks like the favorite.

It may not have been the best of the show (it was still great), but she is very talented and I think she would do a great job fronting the band.

I think she did good and I don't think she was trying to play a sympathy card. I think she wants it to reach her mother and maybe reconcile. That's just a matter of opinion though. I loved the naked run around the pool!!!

I didn't like the fact that they showed her running naked around the pool.I didn't like her version of the song and she didn't touch my heart with her sob story about her mom.Yes I think she just might have ruined her chances of going further.

They asked her why she fought for the song. All she did was tell them why. I thought she did good. Maybe your reasoning for asking this lame quesion should be kept to yourself.
