The past 6-7 months or so, my little "friend" has been very irregular, despite taking the pill faithfully. I start anywhere from a week to 2 weeks early. It runs it's normal 4-6 days no matter when it hits, but I thought that by being on the pill--it would regulate that. That was one of the reasons that I went on it. So, now, I can't be sure of when it will hit, and have been surprised several times. Does anyone else have this problem with this type of BC? Advice?

Thanks!!!!!

The "Lo" part of the title means that there is a very low-dose of synthetic estrogen, and as such, it may not be moderating the regularity you're looking for. You may need to try a mono-phasic pill (one chemical all month long) or one that is higher in synth-estrogen content (be warned however that this might make you a little nauseated because of the higher hormone dose).

Either way, you need to talk to your doctor. Only he or she can tell you for sure what's going on.

I am on this birth control and have no problems. I get it the same time during the placebo week and it lasts the same. The pill may not have enough hormones to regulate you, since it is a low dose hormone pill. One of the things the pill does is regulate you, and if your not I would switch. Maybe you need the regular strength. I would call the doc, tell them your not getting your period the week your supposed to and you think they should switch you to another pill.
