I am a straight up Naruto/Hinata fan, but in all honesty I do not think he likes her as more than a friend yet. He barely acknowleged her existence for a good part of the show, but at least during the Chuunin exams he defended her from Neji's verbal attacks and vowed to avenge her.
I really do hope that they get together because Hinata is my favorite character and she deserves to be happy with a decent ninja. Besides, Sakura is too interested in Sasuke and will never choose Naruto. Naruto is oblivious anyway, but those are the breaks.
Maybe in later episodes, (post time skip) Naruto will come to care for Hinata just as she does for him. Or maybe I'm reading way too much into this!

I've heard a rumor that the creator of Naruto will have a love story in the 2nd Naruto. I'm not sure if it's true or not... But I hope Naruto and Hinata will fall in love with each other!!

Naruto likes Hinata as a friend. Naruto still loves Sakura.( But maybe later Naruto might start to love Hinata!)

I don't really know but when Hinata is injured in the episode before rock lee vrs. Gaara, Naruto gets pissed.
