The invasion of Iraq was a big mistake in the first place:
Sadaam withour help fought against Iran to keep Iran from weilding their influence on the large Shi-ite majority of Iraq(who Sadaam kept under his control). We the USA (with a hidden agenda) invade Iraq and turn the tables- the Shi-ites now control Iraq and Iran is just waiting for us to leave uh uh uh!
In other words we have created a monster a no- win situation. We would need to be there forever to keep Iraq out of Irans hands, but the American people will not allow this to go on indefinitely.
Too expensive financially and the loss of our soldiers. For what?

If we pull out of Iraq then there will be a civil war. Sectarian violence could have 10-100,000 causalities. The winners could very well be radical Islamic organizations that would run the country with an iron fist and declare war on western powers. Iraq would become a haven for terrorist organizations and we'd all be much worse off than when we started.
We need to make sure that the Iraq government is secure, that the people have their basic needs met, and that the people of Iraq can take care of their own problems before we leave.

Well since people already blame us Americans for everything (including their own problems). Leaving Iraq would cause a civil war and the world as we know it would blame the United States (as usual). Then we would have to probably go back to Iraq and help them create a new government anyway. If we were to leave and just pull out, the terrorists would follow us here. There is no safe place when there are terrorists in the world. So its either we fight the terrorists on their land or we fight them on our land. Some people say it was a mistake to go into Iraq. When in fact it would have been against our beliefs, morals and values as Americans to just let people live in such a evil and horrible place. I am proud of my country for doing what it thought was right. And in my mind It Was Right.
God Bless America!

Part of the Nation building plan is for 100,000 Service men to spend their salary on Iraqi Whores This puts millions of dollars into the Iraq economy every day. Even if the Soldiers only spend $500 a month on professional sex workers that is $50 mill a month. Plus the cost of guilty conscious gifts they send to their mothers.
Next is the genetic alteration of the society. With 10's of thousands of Americanized babies being born Iraq slowly becomes a Westernized Nation.
We cry in outrage when sex is used in genetic warfare in Dirfir but sweep the dirty little secret of American genetic warfare under the carpet.

Pulling out now would completely discredit us as a reliable ally in the eyes of most of the world. I don't think it would make things worse here immediately, but I certainly wouldn't want to be a Sunni or Kurd in Iraq. Let's all say genocide together.
In all likelihood, the Shi'ites would turn to Iran for assistance in "cleansing" Iraq. Most Iraqis are Persians not Arabs so their closest ally is Tehran. A Persian alliance in control of that much oil and with those resources would present a new and major threat to the Arabian peninsula and whatever minor emirates left that are willing to sell oil to the US. Once they consolidated control over the area and built up their forces, they would turn their attention to wiping out Israel and the US.

Everyone who is going on about civil war misses the point because there is already limited-scale civil war. Hundreds of people are dying each week, sometimes directly because of the actions of our troops its been known for marines to just watch it happen time and time again.
It seems pointless to pull out tho the US is kinda stuck there until the situation really improves. But newsflash- Iraq has always been full of civil wars and violence. Hussein was (apparently) part of a hit squad in his early days in the party.
What needs to happen is for the US to fix the water and electricity, and to take back control of Baghdad one step at a time. I think to be honest a revolution in the way Iraqis think about national identity would be good too, its okay saying "we only want peace! we want to be free!" But a) do they really and b) they would need the United State's help, definately with the death squads going around the capital at the moment. If 'ordinary civilians' are bombing their neightbours then they obviously want chaos!
So if the country was serious about getting itself together and being free it would have made real conscious efforts to pull itself together. Thats not fair considering the trauma- a zillion dead, hundreds of Iraqi professors and scientists assassinated, no water, no food, guns everywhere, no-one safe. But I still think if they were serious about peace they would stop fighting and trust one another to build their country above their neighbours, and that the occupation should continue until a figure who doesn't believe in bombs and guns starts winning approval in civilian populations- not crazy fanatics!

True leaders are needed when everyone else sits staring at a problem saying "how are we supposed to fix this?".
Once leaders commit to fixing the problem, they often find those problems need plenty of resources to fix because if it was an easy problem to fix the democrates would have taken care of it during the Carter administration (not that it all started there).
We need to stop acting like a buch of Lousiana politicians and get behind the leadership and commit the resources to get the job done.
Thank God for the leadership of George Bush and the men and women strong enough to go to Iraq and do a job that needs to be done.
If the prophets go on to their reward ...
What becomes of those that make their job difficult?

Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran is waiting, salivating, wishing that we would pull out of Iraq. He wants Iraq for himself. He wants to be the leader of the Middle East. He was one of the terrorists who took Americans hostage back in 1979, by the way...He wants more and more power. He funds Hezbollah already. Ok, so he sits on HUGE amounts of oil, which the world needs...which is leverage for his hunger for power and domination...so...he wants IRAQ'S oil as well. Iraq is very vulnerable right now with its new government, etc...well, I have put all this in kindergarten terms..but I think you get the gist. Oh yeah, and he's making nukes...
