well... 5 years ago, i knocked my head onto a huge metallic pipe round the central part of my head. I had no vomitting and no bumps or is my head swollen, with the exception that there were continuous headaches for the next few months. However, slowly the pain went away.

What is scary is that, nowadays, when I sit around, sometimes this pain or sort of headache feeling came, and i could feel the world is moving without my head shaking. The occurence has been a few times and lately, the series of headaches came back and to make matter worst, I recently had nausea feelings.

So anyone got any idea whether it is related the knock on my head? If it is, what should I do?

you should get your eyes checked because it could be because of a visual problem.

I would say if the headaches/nausea become severe, it's definitely worth mentioning to your doc. I don't see how it could be related to the bump that was 5 years ago though, any damage that would've been done would have either been severe enough to send you to the hospital, or healed on its own by now.

It almost sounds like a migraine though. Do you also experience sensitivity to light and sound with this headache, and does moving hurt? The best way for docs to treat headaches is for you to keep what they call a headache journal, and the more info you can give them, the better. Write down what time of day the headaches happen, what you're doing, what you've eaten, and what medications you take and what works. Rate the pain on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most horrible pain imaginable. Also, you need to know that the first sign of dehydration is a mild headache, so make sure you're drinking plenty of water as well. I hope you can get this resolved, I've had migraines in the past, and they are no fun at all!

Sounds like this might be a blood pressure problem. Avoid salt, and high sodium foods.

Caffeine can also contribute to hypertension.

Do you ever feel flushed, a little like you're in a pressure cooker? Just plain uncomfortable?

The other idea is just migraines. Talk to a Doctor if you suspect either one.

They may be able to help right away with hypertension and will be able to prescribe something for migraines. They've got some good working stuff out there nowadays.

Good luck.

yes it can be connected but it is improbable.
since it happened 5 years ago, you should have immediate effects. Could there be soemthing else going on? what type of pain? constant, severe, intermittent, throbbing? Where does it hurt? Any other symptoms connect to it like blurring of vision? loss of consciousness. Severity? Its not migraine? etc, etc.
If there is a chance that it was due to your accident before, did you get a CT scan or at least a skull xray then when it happened.
Maybe you had minor accidents that you didn't know or forgot about that can aggravate a previous injury. Have a ct scan done, find out if you have signs of s chronic subdural hematoma, or something? better safe than sorry!

Some times injuries to the head take a while to surface. Especially their symptoms. I recommend you go see a doctor and tell him what happened as exactly as you can. Then tell him/her your recent symptoms. My guess is that you may be bleeding slowly internally. But only a doctor can tell you for sure.

Then again, considering that the injury happened some time ago, it may be another problem all together. Either way, go see your family doctor as soon as possible.

if this is notmal, for you, mabey u r developing migrains, so go see a doctor, or take tilonol for now, if u r sick or have allergies, it may be a sinous headake, so get tilonol inus headache. by the way if you do want to check it w/a doctor do not go to a nurologist belive me i went a week ago, and it is not worth it, all they do is tell you to go get an mri, and an mra, if it is migranes, your normal doctor will tell you.

Go see a nuerologist and get a CT scan done of your head. They can look to see if there's any damage to your skull or brain.
