My family is considering relocating to the Twin Cities. I'm looking for a suburb that is safe, with good schools, family-oriented. I want to be less than 40 minutes from downtown. I'd also prefer newer single family homes. ( less than 10 years old if not newer) I'd also like to to be affordable (under $350k housing) Any suggestions? I want to stay away from Plymouth.

I would try up closer to Elk River. Rogers is the fastest growing suburb with new schools. It is close to Maple Grove where there is many many things to do and places to shop.......

Quebec is my wide-unfold element of Canada, so in case you have chose to bypass to right here i could say that Montreal is a brilliant decision! quite in case you talk fluent french and english, you will haven't any project there (different than adjusting to quebec french). i've got been to the twin cities, and that i do no longer think of that they even carry a candle to montreal.

Have you checked out Lakeville, Burnseville, Edina, or Inver Grove Heights?
