I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

well i think that you should try the clinque three step skin care system, because that helped my skin, how ever i do not have very bad acne, if you have bad enough acne you and probably go on medication but you would have to go to a dermatologist to get it, if you do get the clinque stuff it is kind of expensive online so try a sephora store or something of that sort, also i have oily skin so i am not sure if it will work as well on you, what i do when using the clinque three step skin care system is take a wash cloth and very hot water a rub my face all over, this has cleared up my face really well, hopefully this helped, also if your a girl and you wear a lot of makeup that tends to clog your poors and make you break out so maybe try a week with no make up or less make up because that helps me a lot with clearing my skin up, also remember to exfoliate your face to get the dead skin cells off

I have been on regular ortho-tricyclen as well as the tricyclen low dose pills. I had to switch to the lower dose because the regular dose made me have vertigo. This in combination with an antibiotic helped my acne immensely. I was and have been under the care of a dermatologist who found a good antibiotic for me to take. But be careful if you are going to rely on the pill for birth control while taking an antibiotic. Antibiotics can decrease the efficacy of the pill. : )
p.s. I started the pill when I was 16.

I use Alesse. I was on many others previously: Depo Provera, Ortho Tri Cyclen, Ortho Lo, Lo Evra. When I was put on Alesse my face was clear as with all the others but I finally lost weight on this one at age 21. I have been on birth control since I was 15.
