I always said life would be so much easier it we came with a manual. Then I found out we do.
The basics I have learned:
We all have a main theme that when we are doing we feel more complete and that we are always drawn to.
example- Justice, healer, spirituality, even people who are negitive all the time, without the negitivity we would not experience the good in the same way.
Seek higher knowledge, we are here to experience life for God.

As soon as I made a plan it changed. Planned to go to a school in D.C. and become a film director, didn't get a dormroom, went to Iowa. Came home to finish school and became a Mom. Went to school to become a teacher, wound up being a librarian. Became interested in all the real estate questions and became a Realtor(r). Now I want to stay home, take care of my husband and daughters and do freelance design (computers, fine art, marketing, woodwork) on the side while still maintaining a Real Estate presence in the market. In between all that I had a 5 year plan to move to New Mexico and become a Pistaccio Farmer on my very own Pistaccio farm. Plans keep you motivated.

Haing a life plan is essential. I plan to live in peace and harmony and have fun by not taking life too seriously. "Life's what happens when you're busy making other plans" John Lennon.

Oh yeah, I was shooting for the moon...then life happened. lol Yeah, nothing turned out like I expected but I'm happily married and I love my job. I couldn't be more thrilled. Goals are great but it's more important that your are happy with yourself first. If you don't enjoy life then what's the point. Have fun. Try new things.

I did. I've had several. But none of them was worth the effort, since things change so unpredictably. So now I just wing it.
