If you wish to be called Kaitlyn, then go to the courts and have it legally changed. Nothing to stop you, unless you're under age.

If you love the name so much, purhaps you should find a girl with the name.
It would be much easier. Changing a name these days isn't an easy task.

because that takes a lot more than just changing a name.
you should do it if you want to, but make sure you know its definitely what you want, cause just changing your name means contacting social security, DMV, Post Office, Credit cards, bank, military (if youre in it), etc.etc....
