I don't really know, but it happens to me too sometimes.

Usually, after a while, it just stops.

I've been told to rest, cut down on caffine/sugar - I don't know if any of it works, but it doesn't seem to hurt anything. (I often nap and it is better when I get up ... )

Although, nothing in particular seems to trigger it for me ...

It could be a "tic" - an involuntary muscle spasm -
tic's can be caused by a few different things like stress, heavy metal poisoning like lead, or lithium. Other causes may include deficiencies in vit B's deficiencies in potassium and magnesium.

Ask yourself questions like
How long has it been happening?
What has my diet been like?
How stressed am I?

You might like to try some supplements, just a general multi vitamin and mineral for a few days, follow the instructions on the label, talk to the pharmacist, talk to your doctor, or a natropath.
Good luck

Speaking from personal expereince..as i am currently having the same thing happen(same eye too) they are correct in saying, its nothing to worry about.

our eyes are probably just tired....or spending too much time at the computer screen(it does and will stress your eyesight.

mine is just mild now..but still anyoing.

your eyes are tired. Do you wear glasses? If not do you think you may need to wear glasses?

it could be caused by stress. I wouldn't worry about it though, its nothing serious.
