People- stop receiting the freekin buzzwords already- Dubya has you all wound up following BS- 90% of the troops think Saddam caused 911- because no one tells them anything else- they don't sit and read the paper over there- ones who DO know truth r pissed - however, that war is a sham- it's really for oil, and to help Bush's allies namely Exxon, Chevron and Conoco-

Aren't allies supposed to be countries with citizens? and not corporations??

Not anymore, it all change with the current regime- yes our boys Bush, the VP and point man Mr Rover, they hold think tanks for public relations stratagies- not foractually planning how to help the country. It's all business with them, and were NOT (right or left) in thier special club-

in fact they LOVE to have us all fighting over the "left-right" "who's the winner" thing- keeps us distracted while they par-boil our lives and resources-

'nough said- but I don't feel better until the BIG TURN-AROUND comes-

TIME FOR CHANGE!

Kaadbear - here is the answer i think you are looking for. General Smedley Butler 2 time winner of the medal of honor wrote in his book WAR IS A RACKET the following quote.
"I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902–1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. "

I've met/heard from a couple troops. They don't think Saddam caused 911. Do you have a source? That's a pretty heavy handed thing to say without a well conducted large poll.

Energy is a neccesity in this country, like it or not. Unfortunately, the war hasn't helped, althoug some point in the future it might. You can second guess Greoge Bush all you want, but you don't know that, and that's a fact. There's a conspiracy theory for everything and this one seems as likely as not. If George lied about WMD or lied about intelligence, then he'll have to deal with that with God or man (if it's uncovered), until then, you're just a loony dude with an avatar I can't respect.

I'm with skull face. I'm ready to riot in the street but timing is everything. If only 5 other people are with me, nothing is going to change. If enough of the US is ready for a fight and more than fed up with Democrats and Republicans, it is our DUTY as good citizens to take action and change the government. Or should we wait for the Democrats and Republicans to take away their own control and power?

So how do all the angry people collect to take action? Is Micheal Moore our leader? Then who will lead? Maybe we just need a plan, no leader, for a time to hit the streets in protest, like May 1, or Labor Day?

We could move to Wyoming and officially leave the union? Half a million people to become the majority.

dude, i agree that its time for a change

but that change will not take place until something is done about it.

we must vote & compaign for what we believe in....if this is the way you believe you need to google Micheal Moore or John Kerry and find out how you can support this cause that you are so passionate about.

bitchin on Yahoo Answers will not solve this problem

~make love not war~

I would like to see a source for your percentage and the evidence you have tying the Presidents decision to go to war with him trying to help oil companies. Thank You.
