I prefer a subtle, whiny sort of "oh yawh" sound in a high pitched soprano-ish voice. I don't like alto sounding cigarette smoker voiced "yeh-yeh-yeh's" or "brooklyn" accents at any volume levels.
I also don't like too much encouragement. The following statements sort of distract me:
"uhm hmmm"
"YES! YES!"
"F_ _ _ me harder!"
I don't like getting mused with directional comments either, as if she is an air traffic controller either, such as:
"a little to the left, yeah, right there" or
"ok, exactly, yep, that's it, not bad!"
I prefer them to keep their moans and whines at a primitive at intelligently volumed levels.
It also helps that they time the sounds at the time I'm lunging forward.
Nothing is more distracting when the whines happen as I'm going away from the penetration. When that happens, it reminds me of badly lipsync'ed Japanese movies where there are voiceovers in English.

I think that depends on personal preferences (the woman and the partner), but hopefully pretty damn quiet if there is anyone in the next room!

Be as loud as you want to be. Don't fake it though. That's not cool, and most guys will understand that you won't orgasm every time.

It's a personal preference. From what I've heard guys like, the louder, the better.
