Usually 99 cents per song from ITunes. If you have an MP3, its free. You can also copy your CDs to the IPod for free.

It doesn't cost anything to put songs on an ipod. However, if you want to download them from the internet of itunes, it will probably cost 1 dollar a song.

for my nano it cost 99 cents for a song on itunes. if you download from napster you can download as many songs as you want for like 9.99 a month! Yeah and you can put CD's on your ipod (if you own them) for free using itunes, hope that helps! 78^)
