Its right up on the sleaze factor scale with tongue rings.
and a thong showing above jeans.
ew.
And sooooo many girls have them, its not a great look but since its popular, girls get them.
I also hate seeing lil 8 year olds with "foxy" or "sassy" written on the bums of their sweat pants. Or 14 year olds wearing bikini tops and capris in the mall. They have no idea what they are doing with themselves, that in that moment, they are being mentally undressed by about 50 guys. Hello, every middle aged father in the food court is trying not to look and keeping a firm mental picture of their teenage daughters instead, with a little caption that reads "I hope my daughter doesn't dress that way."

Some women might think that a lower back tattoo makes them extremely sexy...I think it's a mating call for those who only want one night stands. I'm planning a couple of tattoos but am waiting to see if I grow out of wanting them. I'm definitely not getting them on my lower back and would be totally embarassed if I was branded with a tramp stamp.

I'm personally of the opinion that the original woman who had a tramp stamp tattooed on herself didn't think it was going to create a national phenomem that it has. That being said, I think the younger women out there really do get them because they think its sexy and will come to regret it the older they get. Tramp stamps seem to be honing devices for "those men" your mother always warned you about, and the more you date those kinds of guys, the less appealing guys in general get.

I don't think they are "tramp stamps" but I prefer not to have one. Mostly do to the fact that I don't like needles.

I myself have a very pretty tattoo on my lower back that nobody ever sees but my husband. I think that tattoos can be very pretty if tastefully placed and done by a professional that knows what he or she is doing. Like anything else, this is a personal opinion. If you don't like them, don't get them!!

I would have to agree with you on this. I myself dont have a tat, tho I would like one someday, but Im so afraid that after its done, I wont like it! Ive seen some really nice tats on women and some that I would be so embarrassed of if it was on me or someone I knew. But I guess if the person who has it likes it, then its all good!

amen! Tattoos are fine, an expression of who you are, but a butterfly/tribal design above you butt crack is not an expression of who you are it's a tramp stamp....ask any decent tattoo artist & they'll tell you.
