The Goonies, The Wraith, Beatlejuice, The Garbage Patch Kids, Madonna's movie on tour. No I'm not a nympho but it did teach me about sex at an early age.

1- THE THING (John Carpenter, 1982) : My all-time favorite movie which could never be copied, sequeled, or remade.
2- Planet Of The Apes (the 1960's original) : a social commentary still accurate of today's world. Check out the 4rth part, "Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes" which has an amazing a riveting speach by Ceasar (Roddy McDowell) towards the end.
3- KungFu Hustle (by Raymond Chow) : It's just an amzing visual treat; exactly the type of film I would be doing myself if I have the money!
4- Summer Of Sam (by Spike Lee) : An incredibly realistic look at an italian community during the 1977 summer in NYC. Unbelievably great acting from all involved.
5- BRAZIL (director's cut) from Terry Gilliam : I am a fan of Terry Gilliam's works but Brazil (even in it's edited Hollywood format) is an amazing feat, completelly off-beat humour, and a great commentary on modern society.
Cheers

1.) Star Wars (most specifically, Return of the Jedi). I have loved the entire series since the first time I watched it... Return of the Jedi in particular, since that was the first move I remember watching with my dad in the theater (I saw the other two with other family members in the theater).
2.) The Wizard - I know, I know... it was cheezy... but it gave me hope for a career in video games, believe it or not.
3.) Tron - From the moment I first saw it, I became obsessed with all things technological.
4.) War Games - It called out to "the hacker within me", and was probably what caused me to be a SysOp and Co-SysOp for a good number of BBSes through the years before the internet was popular.
5.) The Dark Crystal - That movie spawned my love for all things in the fantasy genre.

Not so much life changing but my favorite 'inspirational' movies, because they give a sense of balance and a real feel good sensation at the end are:
- Wings of Desire
- The Big Blue
- The Dark Side of the Heart (El Lado Oscuro del Corazon)
- Akira Kurosawa's Dreams
- The Life Acquatic with Steve Zizou
