I'm a Mexican and I'm wanting to become legal in the U.S. I'm in love with a beautiful girl who has a beautiful 2 year old daughter here and I'm working full-time. I don't want to lose my life here in states. I love my family back home, but I would love to stay here with my family.

Oh, this question is for my friend, not me. I'm obviously a woman, but he just needs this advice. Thank you.

well first of al i would like to thank and congratulate you for taking the initiative to become a legal citizen before living here.. i applaud you for not being here illegaly and actually respecting the us enough to become legal... to become a us citizen, visit your city hall or even the state building.. if you ask for help there it will be very easy.. i cant really tell you right now over the internet, but go to an official goverment establishment and you can easily find out.. also, google where do get the information... good luck!!

If you are here on a work permit you need to apply for a green card to become a permanant citizen and then you can apply for citizenship. If you are here illegally, might want to find an immigration lawyer to help you fight the legal battles.

It use to be that you had to take tests and it was illegal to enter the country unless you had immigration papers at least! Nowdays I guess all you have to do is cross the border! If I were you tho, I would have her moved down there because all are jobs are going to mexico! It wont be long before I will be jumping the border to get a job down there! Would you let ME in?
