As of right now, there are NO worthy candidates (male or Female)to take over the Presidential seat. We should all be concerned about that!

Interesting that the first answer came from someone who can't even spell his favorites' names. That seems typical. Hillary Clinton is a dark horse in my mind, as much as she wants the job. Her own party can't stand her. Just read this site if you can't believe that.
Yes, General Colin Powell would be a good centrist choice, but he has said many times that he doesn't want the job. John McCain is another good centrist choice, and someone on this site recently mentioned Jack Kemp, who has been proposed in primaries in the past.

Colin Powell would be good or even John McCain. How about a regular Joe from a lower middle class society to give the country back to the people!

One of my choices would be NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, because so far at least, he has shown all-around common sense, has good leadership skills and seems to be pretty balanced. Another would be Ivana Trump, not because she's a female since gender doesn't make a difference to me, but because she seems sensible and insightful. She might not know much about politics, but these other two qualities are just as important or more so.

I think it's about time we had a woman in charge, too. But I think Hillary Clinton is too far left. She's as far left as the current administration is right. We don't need either extreme anymore. We need someone "in the middle". Someone who isn't tied down by "party opinions", someone who can take a few suggestions from each side and come up with a happy medium.
