Do you know where Liberals often come from? Conservative parents! If conservatives keep doing such a lousy job raising their kids, alienating them with excessive harshness and stupid rules, they'll keep producing more Liberals. Besides, if it's a Birth Race, the children of non-white (= Democratic) immigrants far outpace conservative whites. There is no future for Conservatives. This is their last hurrah, and the hate they express is their last gasp.

As I see it according to this answe,r by a liberal, a lot of liberals are a self-described bunch of spoiled children rebelling against authority because they hate their parents.

Thanks kreevich, that is enlightening.

Remember people and Jim W, this is a statement from a liberal. I did not make this up. I am simply asking if people agree with the statement. He obviously states liberals are often the result of children disagreeing with their authority figures' method of raising children leading to a lifetime of fighting or at least disagreeing with authority.

Liberal means (at its most basic) wanting to expand, grow, change things. Conservative means wanting to keep things the same.

So, it's not surprising that younger people are more open to change and tolerance, and older people want things to be more stable and constant. Both perspectives are valid and both are worthy of respect.

But also do some research. Look over the past two centuries what issues and positions were considered liberal versus conservative. Many of the beliefs now held by the conservative party were considered liberal (new, different) in their time.

there must be something to it because i am the spoiled child of religously consevatives parents who have passed on now .
I used to constantly be bombarded with there way everyone should live .
I dated a girl who was not the right color once and one that was not the right religion and one that was the wrong kind cause of where her family came from .I was seeing a married women that had a child and realy got reemed for this and all along i said that this is my life and i will do with it as i please .
I do not believe in a God as you do who has ended life on a planetary scale saving noah and his family and two of every creature on earth .
SOME people believe this horse crap but as far as i am concerned all religion is a pile of steaming crap .IT is for one purpose only and that is to fall in line and do as you are told or suffer .NOT only in this life but some how they convince everyone that in the next world you will be punished also .
I can not accept that a loving careing God cappable of creating live would not be able to handle a few individuals and accept them .
I have a feeling they all missed the boat and that individuals who live life rather then follow some silly rule book written by man will in the end be better for it and have enjoyed life and learned much more then those who blindly follow the path others have walked . that in my mind is a form of slavery and totally un-exceptible

faith is a tender problem for me. i'm catholic. My fiance is catholic, and our son will be baptised catholic next month. i think in god, i think in jesus dieing for our sins, heaven and hell. i do no longer even with the undeniable fact that believe in each and each of the politics that bypass alongside with the church. i do no longer sense that i need to sit down down in a boring mass a week to ensure that my prayers to be heard or for the lord to carry close i think. I also imagine the catholic church bases way toooo a lot around the sturdy ol dollar...each little thing is funds. The church is meant to be there to help, yet yet they're continuously those with their hands out. There are some practices I disagree with...i think it really is my decision to apply birth control or have sex previously marriage, actual if it quite is the worst aspect I do in my existence...i'm happy with it, and that i desire god is too. i imagine as long as i think, am satisfied, and am an everyday sturdy individual, the lord will be at liberty. (or a minimum of i visit desire).

of course you're going to take one dumb answer and say "AHA, see!" to generalize....

If you want us to form an unbiased opinion, you have to present all the facts.

Goodness, never thought I'd be arguing with George Jefferson, an example for rational thinking everywhere!
