- War-haters oppose Hilary, because she supports the Iraqi, and Israeli wars

- Republicans despise her, because she's very liberal

- Men despise her, because she's a feminist

- Conservative women despise her, because she's a liberal feminist

- Pro-lifers despise her, because she supports abortion.

- Many are tired of the Bush/Clinton era.

- Her strongest supporters are feminists, pro-choicers, and homosexuals. Yet, they even agree and disagree on certain topics, (such as the wars).

Does she really have any chance of nomination/election?

Her nomination would be a rarity... both extremes satisfied by the exact same thing. She is unelectable in a national campaign. Many liberals think she is and they are wrong. For them she embodies all of their far left hopes and dreams. Many on the right are hoping against hope that she wins the party nod. She will only cement the perception that Democrats are out of touch with mainstream America and allow Republicans to run anyone they would like.

I personally hope McCain gets the nomination but if Hilary wins on the other side it might spark a movement in the Republican party to run someone who is more conservative to further contrast the difference between the two parties.

Anyone who thinks Hillary can win a national election really needs to examine the electoral map. There way too many states where she does not stand a chance. New York is not the center of American politics.

I will add one qualifier. As long as there is no third party spoiler she will not win. Perot gave her husband the White House twice I hope and pray this doesn't happen again. Did you know Bill never even got 50% of the vote? No majority, ever.

There are many, many Democrats who cringe at the idea of a Clinton ticket, although she has an enormous amount of money at her disposal.

There's a bit of a mini-revolution going on in the Democratic party - witness Joe Lieberman getting the boot in favor of neophyte Lamont.

The old, tired Democratic party is finally getting some spine. For some, the Big H is a reminder of the time when the Democratic Party pretty much collapsed as an effective ruling party. Time to look forward instead.

No, I don't think it's just media hype. There are a lot of Democrats who think she should run. But no matter what her politics or her competence could we have a presidential line of succession that from 1989 through 2012 goes Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton??

You just answered the Big Question will she be our next President? Your reasoning listed shows the impossibility, of her possible election to the office...Now I can say that I would truly like to see her Run!

It probably is really just that media hype, and her testing the water, maybe a little of both.

Who knows? Stranger things have happened.

I am all for a female president as long as she is competent and the best suited for the position of Presidency....

But I just hope it isn't Hillary. Look at her Senate record....

I do not know why everyone is so against Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Clinton. I think even so her husband got in trouble because of the Monica Lewinsky case does not mean they were morally bad? Or the Whitewater case. I think it was the political opponents that tried very hard to destroy their reputation. Look what happens to Mr. George Bush right now. His opponents mainly in his near political environment all try to destroy him / I think it would be on the time that a women run the political affairs of our country. Look in Germany they have a female chancellor called Angela Merkel. It has absolutley nothing to do with feminists. It has to do with giving equal power and equal opportunities to women in this country . The hierarchy of "Macho Men" everywhere prevents women from gaining access to the most powerful position in this world, That of the Presidency. I think this country has very much the Women like Mrs. Clinton who are capable of running day to day affairs. Probably even proofen better judgements and decission makings than their male counter parts. For the writer , Mrs. Clinton is against the Iraq War and opposes the political agenda behind it that the Bush Administration is trying to proof it's validation for! I would defintley vote for Mrs. Clinton, (I am a Female) , we are capable not only of running our homes, childcare, home makers responsibilities, we are capable of running government affairs. Geeze some of us women hold high ranking position in the government administration. See Dr. Candaleeza Rice. I think she has a chance! Society will change. We can't prevent change. It's on the time to have a female President!! Remember Equality for every one, equal rights for every one. So if women can't be president, than we must change our constitution that states "EQUALITY"
