I think it works to an extent, but not sure if it is the most efficient way. There is always room for improvement and more updated perspectives. I think the process can be shorter. I was just given a website called TheWork.com. It was written by a woman that was one of the 100 innovators according to Time Mag. Amazon her great reviews on her books as well. Some people think her theory is the new psychotherapy. I read it and it seems interesting. She gives a lot of info on her website.

Honestly I think it is someone trying to figure something out when they truthfully know nothing about anything. To psychoanalyze someone's thoughts and feelings is to use common sense to figure out why people do something. Freudian theory may have worked in his day and age, but times and people change and so do their motives for thinking and acting a certain way.

Yes, it definitely still works. Maybe you could find a therapist that specializes in brief psychoanalysis.......
