i stated to wear glasesi look horrible!!!!!!!!!!! how can i make myself look good please tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :....( i need help

and i cant wear contacts dont ask u dont wanna know

I am so jealous! I've always wanted to wear glasses (I even pretended that I did back in High School). There are so many different styles and colors and designer glasses to choose from. Maybe the ones you picked out aren't best suited for you. Go back and exchange them for a better pair. Tell the sales person that you're unhappy and I'm sure they have a 30 or 60 day (or more) return policy if you're not 100% satisfied and it doesn't sound like you are! Return them and try them all on before you decide (bring your best friend with you - he or she will tell you honestly of you look good or not)! Have fun!

I'm sure you are being extra self-conscious about the glasses and that you do not look horrible!! Give yourself a break, I'm sure you look beautiful! If they continue to bother you, get a friend or family member to give you advice on how they look or to help you with picking out another pair. Lucky for you, glasses are very stylish these days!

To classicsoulover: you gave a great answer and one that I try to get my patients to follow...find a pair of frames that FIT!!! Once you have the fit, the optician or frame stylist should be able to help you in finding the perfect color and style.

Most of the time, when you go into one of the superstores, the stylist is trying to push a particular frame. Beware, because most likely the frame won't fit and that person just earned a couple of bucks commission.

Round face-square or rectangle. Square face-round or oval. Oval face-anything goes.

If I wear you I'd get used to them, I know how you feel recenty I've bought a new pair of glasses and now I'm regretting it cause I don't like them at all. If I were you I'd take a look at the following site decide which one you like and go and try them on before buying, incase you don't like them when they're on your face.

Contacts work great, or for a more permanent fix, lasik surgery! Try new frames. This is just a minor problem, with alot of solutions.

try contacts, theyre not bad at all - it took me like 2 mo. putting them in. I just got a spare pair of glasses yesterday - if you got yours at lenscrafters you can switch them for free for the next month. I think glasses are cute and spunky, and the type you pick describes your personality. Glasses can be sexyyy

You need to find the glasses that fit your face. First find out what kind of face shape you have, then chooses glasses that will complement it. I look pretty much like my avatar and I wear square glasses in black. The color complements me and the shape complements my face.

I wish I could wear glasses! Not really but you probably look great wearing them so ether get a new pair you like or live with it, you will get use to it. ;-)

You might want to try getting rimless glasses. They're a lot less noticeable and you can usually change the shape of the lenses to suit your style.
