"Harold and Maude" was released in 1971. Harold's mother signs him up for a "computer dating" service. Computers back then were not available to the general public. Does anyone else think that's odd?

Computers were in use, but not commonly. It's a way of showing how wealthy they were that they could access a service not widely available. I'm sure it wasn't cheap then either.
