I go almost bald, not for looks but for comfort. Its a personal preference with no answer really to what is best. I just feel cleaner with that area bald.

Shaving is good for health and hygiene of vagina. It should be cleaned regularly. Bushy growth will increase sweat and it supports fungus. Hence shaving the pubic hair is good.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

I shave and am also a nurse, but as far as I know, it helps to reduce the bacteria around the vagina that is trapped by the hair and also consequently reduces odors for the same reasons. I think as long as you keep yourself clean it is OK to shave. by the way, summers eve makes a wonderful PH balanced feminine wash just for that area (who knew, soap for the vagina!!) but please remember NEVER EVER DOUCHE!! bad, bad, bad!!

No its not. The hair there protects from bad things getting in. When you shave your hair you are making it easier for you to get infections.

Good for the guy who licks your vagina.
makes no difference to health as long as you stay clean & hygenic even if yours is covered under dense forests.
I personally prefer unshaved puss. Its fun to trace ur tongue in deep forests to find the honey pool.
