If I ask the other gatekeeper if he is at the gate of heaven will he say yes ?

if you ask the liar
- if the other is at the gate of heaven he will say "yes" but then the liar will say "no", take that gate
- if the other is not at the gate of heaven. he will say "no" but then the liar will say "yes"don't open that gate

if you ask the other
- if the liar is at the gate of heaven he will say "no", take that gate
- if the liar is not at the gate of h. he will say "yes", dont' open that gate.

Therefore always open the "no" gate to get to heaven.

you will ask one of them --''what would the other gate keeper tell me if I would ask him 'which gate leads to heaven'?'' --no matter whom you asked the answer will be the wrong gate bcs if you've asked to the lier: he will think : hmm the other gate keeper tells the truth so it will show the heaven door'' but since he always lies he will tell you the other door so it is the wrong door what he says. if you asked the keeper that tells the truth it will think : ''hmm the other gate keeper lies so he would show the gate to hell'' so his answer also is showing the wrong door. In each case you have to choose the gate which is not answer.

You would have to use the facts that you have. You know that both are gate keepers, that's a fact. All you would have to do is ask if they are a gate keeper. The one who says yes is telling the truth. The one is says no is lying.

This is a question in logic where the axiom 'combination of two negatives is negative' is to be applied. One has to ask any one of the gate keepers ' if I ask your friend which path leads to freedom, what will be his answer ?' Irrespective of the security man, the answer will be for the path that does not lead to heaven. So the seeker has to take the other path.

Walk up to one of the gatekeepers and point across to the other one. Ask the gatekeeper "Which way would HE tell me to go to heaven?" Whatever answer the gatekeeper you asked tells you, do the opposite, and then you'll find your way to heaven.
