I think God speaks to us mostly by actions, and he has a weird sense of humor. I was wanting a change in my life recently... just something... Well, guess what? I got a separated shoulder! Fortunately, it was only a mid grade separation and doctors say it should "fully" heal with the possible problem of early arthritis in the shoulder... But this was my first traumatic injury. And now I have more sympathy and empathy than ever for anybody who's been through any injury. I used to wonder how so many injuries occured to so many people, or why some people seemed more prone to injury. Now that I've had this, I know... and its a little bit scary. Fact is, stuff happens, either by luck or God. I could interpret it either way, but in any case I choose to interpret it as a experience that will help me later in life. Life has always seemed to be full of strange coincidences... I admit they could be just coincidences, but the idea that someone or something could be guiding my life to improve my life or to improve other lives is rather comforting.

BTW, side point, athiests will think that thiests are insane... maybe. Arguments can be made against many religions based on historic perpectives. But the insanity I see is that they don't recognize the "faith" that they must have and the assumptions they must make to make their points. As far as I can tell, the proof of God's existance or lack there of, in fact, cannot exist! You need to know the truth before you can extend your knowledge of the truth. Since we are all born without knowing the truth (as evidenced throught history, see the trials of Galileo, etc.), how do you think we can get to know the truth? There's only one option. You choose.

The Bible describes God's(Jesus Christ) voice as a still small voice. Meaning if you are praying and God convicts your concious about something, then you'll feel convicted, guilty or you'll know in your heart something your doing or saying isnt right; or you'll feel in your heart that you didnt do something right.

Jeremiah 31:33-But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day," says the LORD. "I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Hebrews 8:10-But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds so they will understand them, and I will write them on their hearts so they will obey them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Hebrews 10:16-This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts so they will understand them, and I will write them on their minds so they will obey them."

No, but that's because I don't do drugs. Get high on some acid and you'll hear from God all the time.
