If you think about it, when you go to the gynecologist or what not and they give you a pregnancy test, it is not first thing in the morning either. I would say give it a shot. Just don't drink a lot of liquids and then your urine won't be diluted as much..just a suggestion and thought :) Good luck!

Here is the deal, if you are still early in the pregnancy like before your period it is best to do it in the morning, if this is your case I would wait until tomorrow, but if you have already missed your period, any time should do it. When I first found out I was pregnant I did a pregnancy test 5 days before my period and it was positive, I did it first thing in the morning, since I was so excited I did it again around noon and it was negative, I was freaking out! so I did it again the next day first thing in the morning and sure thing it was positive again. The hcg hormone duplicates every other day but once you have missed your period you have more hcg in the urine and it can be detected easier at any time of the day but if you are testing before your period your hcg is not high enough to be detected yet more than once a day. Good luck!!

Depending on how far along you are then you can test it anytime of the day and the hormone should be there. During the day it gets diluted so when you sleep it doesnt and more of the hormone will be in the urine, but you can test at any time. Maybe if you have a 2 test kit try one now, and if its negative then test again in the morning, if not then maybe wait til the morning.

If you are late, then you can test any time of the day. I tested in the afternoon with both my pregnancies and got positives. You can test again later on today. I would suggest not urinating for a couple of hours and don't drink lots of fluids, because it can dilute the hormone levels which are the hormones the test detects.

Take the Error Proof Test. The morning thing shouldnt really matter. Once your egg implants into your uterus, you body automatically produces a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin. Its possible that they advise the morning so that your urine is more concentrated...but the test should work at any point during the day.

Nia...... how could you have tested wrong by just peeing on a stick ..... LOL ......,,, sounds like something I would do ... 8)
Well... .. I would definitely wait until the morning... so that you can get a correct answer... the morning urine is the most potent...so you will get a better reading .... or.. take the other one now... and just go buy another one to take in the morning if this one comes back negative....
Lots of Luck ... sweetie !!

Yes if you are preg. The hcg hormone is just stronger in your first urine, but if you are preg it should not matter when you take the test. I have gotten preg 4 times and it has been at night when i took the test.

Most home preg. tests these days still say first urine, but many of them have gotten so advanced that you don't actually have to have first urine. You should be fine using urine that's not your first of the day.

Those tests can work at anytime during the day... you just have a better chance of getting a stronger positive result if you are pregnant.
